Multimedia Group Limited has issued an official complaint against Kennedy Agyapong, MP for Assin Central and Chairman for the Defense and Interior Committee of parliament for threatening the life of their staff, Erastus Asare Donkor.
In a press release by the MGL company, they appealed for the protection of their staff by filing a formal complaint against the threat by Honorable Agyapong against Erastus Asare to the Deputy Regional Commander and requested a further investigation into the case.
On a show, the Attitude, which airs on Net 2 tv, Kennedy Agyapong ordered for the merciless battering of Erastus because he believes the journalist made a false report on the Ejura protests and killings.

He also asserted that if he, Honorable, was the president of Ghana, he would’ve ensured the gruesome beating of Erastus.
They backed their lawsuit by reiterating the death of investigative journalist, Ahmed Hussein-Suale who died in 2018 after Kennedy Agyapong threatened him.
In view of this, they entreated the Police CID to protect Erastus from being a victim of the same circumstance.
Background
Erastus did a live report on the protest and killings at Ejura which stemmed from the death of social media activist Kaaka.
He appeared before the Kingsley Koomson Committee, a board appointed by the president to investigate and recommend solutions to the case.
According to Kennedy Agyapong, the reports were false and a product of a personal vendetta between Multimedia and their supposed plan to sabotage the NPP.
