Tariq Lamptey Spotted At Ghana Vs Madagascar Game

Tariq Lamptey of Brighton and Hove Albion witnessed the Black Stars defeat Madagascar 3-0 at the Cape Coast Stadium in their first game of the AFCON 2023 qualifiers.

Lamptey, 21, is in Ghana on vacation as he prepares to change his nationality from England to Ghana.

He recently turned down a call-up to the England U-21 squad, reportedly to weigh his options, with Ghana FA officials attempting to persuade him to play for Ghana.

Kudus Mohammed, Felix Afena-Gyan, and Osman Bukari scored in the second half to give Otto Addo’s men all three points. They play the Central African Republic in their next group game on Sunday.
