Ghana’s national football team has represented the country in men’s international football since the 1950s. The team has twenty members, including the technical team.

The team is known as the Black Stars after the Black Star of Africa on Ghana’s flag. It is governed by the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Ghana’s governing body for football and Africa’s oldest football association (founded in 1920).

Before 1957, the team was known as the Gold Coast. The team is a FIFA and CAF member.
