This shocking revelation from Africa’s most decorated rap artist came after a devoted fan begged him to release a new song to commemorate the start of the new year (2022).
In response, Sarkodie, whose music catalog is filled with classic tunes, delivered an unexpected response that shook Ghana as a whole.
According to the CEO of Sarkcess Music, he is working on plans to retire from active music.
Sarkodie’s tweet appears to be one of his jokes on the bird app because he failed to provide more details on why he has chosen to unexpectedly hang his boots in terms of music.
