Cops are now looking into allegations that rapper Lil Wayne pulled a rifle on one of his own bodyguards during a domestic dispute at his home.
According to TMZ, one of Wayne’s bodyguards told cops that he and Wayne got into a fight at his Hidden Hills, California home, resulting in an altercation that escalated to physical violence and the use of a firearm.
The guard claims Wayne told him to leave the house after the initial argument, but things escalated when he went to the bathroom. According to a source close to Wayne, the incident did not occur, and the rapper does not even own a gun.
The guard, on the other hand, insisted that Lil Wayne pulled out an AR-15, at which point he went to the gated community’s guard shack and dialed 911.
Before the cops could arrive and question the rapper, he had already fled. According to the guard, the fight began when Wayne accused him of taking photos and leaking them to the media.
Other law enforcement sources involved in the case told TMZ that cops are skeptical of the guard’s story, and he had no marks or injuries from the alleged physical confrontation.
The guard also does not want to press charges against Wayne, and while police have reservations about some of the allegations, they will conduct an investigation regardless.
