Rosemond Brown, a Ghanaian female socialite and video vixen known as Akuapem Poloo, has revealed some of her prison experiences in a new interview.
Akuapem Poloo was sentenced to 90 days in prison for posting her son’s nudity on social media, but her lawyers appeared to request bail, and she was released.
Her bail was set at GHc80,000 with two sureties by the court. She was also told to report to the case investigator every two weeks and to leave her passport with the court’s registrar. However, Justice Ruby Aryeetey of the Accra High Court dismissed her appeal and returned her to prison.
Akuapem Poloo, on the other hand, was sentenced to 30 days in prison and fined GHc120,000. Captain Smart revealed in an interview with Onua TV that when she arrived, she was asked to remove her clothes so that the police could conduct a background check on her.
“I was told to squat and do a few push-ups so the officer in charge could confirm I didn’t have any bad substances or weapons on me after I took off her clothes,” she explained. Akuapem Poloo also revealed the pieces of advice she received from prison officers whenever she was seen.
