I Got Robbed Within 5 Minutes At The Airport On My First Visit To Ghana – Vic Mensa

Vic Mensa, an American rapper, has spoken out about his first trip to Ghana.

According to him, upon his first arrival at Kotoka International Airport, a man approached him and asked for money to assist him, but the man turned out to be a thief who fled after being given the money.

He made his submission on Y 107.9 FM with Rev Erskine.

“When I first arrived in Ghana, I was robbed within 5 minutes.” I was 11 years old at the time, and it was funny because it was my first time outside of America, and I landed at the airport and it was crazy.

“I didn’t understand the language, and the atmosphere was unusual.” I couldn’t find a cab, so someone approached me and told me to give him money and he would get me a cab, and then he left.” “It was amusing,” he said.

He also stated that the diaspora’s perception of Ghana had shifted and that many people wanted to visit the country.

“Ghana’s perception is currently changing, and many more Black Americans are coming and expressing interest in being here,” he added.
