According to the December rankings released by the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) on Thursday, Ghana’s Black Stars will finish 2021 as the 52nd best men’s national team in the world.
With the next rankings due on February 10, 2022, Milovan Rajevac’s Black Stars – who are vying for a fifth AFCON title – will enter the tournament as the eighth-best team on the African continent.
The Black Stars have 1428.97 points, trailing Senegal (1st), Morocco (2nd), Tunisia (3rd), Algeria (4th), Nigeria (5th), Egypt (6th), and Cameroon (7th).
