Chinese rocket finally falls into India ocean after losing control in space (WATCH)

If you’ve had anxiety in the past days that some rocket was going to fall on your head then we got good news for you.

Days ago, astronauts have warned that a Chinese rocket that lost control in space was heading to fall back on earth in an uncontrolled manner with an uncertainty of where it’s going to land. Space.com predicted that huge parts of the crushed rocket, if not all, will hit Earth this weekend and yes it has.

“A huge Chinese Long March 5B rocket booster is falling back to Earth in an uncontrolled descent, with reentry currently expected on late Saturday (May 8). The 23-ton (21 metric tons) core stage likely will fall into an uninhabited area, given that 70% of Earth’s surface is covered by ocean,” space.com reported.

According to new reports, the crashed rocket which was being tracked has fallen into the Indian ocean. According to U.S. Space Command, “the Long March 5B reentered the atmosphere over the Arabian Peninsula at about 02:15 GMT on Sunday, May 9”.

It is detailed that the wayward booster landed in the Indian Ocean, pretty close to the Maldives. An eyewitness captured the moment on tape and you can watch it below.
