Efia Odo has joined the trending #FixTheCountry protest on social media and she’s making her voice heard loudly.
The protest is about Ghanaian netizens chastizing the Nana Addo led government whilst lamenting over dumsor, shortage of water at some parts of the country, small scale illegal mining destroying water bodies, unemployment, lorry fare increment, no beds at some hospitals among other concerns.
Joining the campaign, Efia tweeted “I’m so happy that the youth of this nation are finally tired of the bad governance and are deciding to speak against it. #FixTheCountry Will not just end on Twitter. We shall lead a protest and show our leaders that enough is enough”.
Emphasizing the need for the protest, she said “trust me our leaders see everything, they just don’t give a fuck. They use us to get votes and throw us away like a used condom”.

Stop using the Covid-19 as an excuse, the hardship started in 2018 but Akuffo Addo was still using private jet for overseas trips, using over 125 useless ministers n 1600 staffers and using most of the huge money borrowed to pay their salaries n allowances— Big Daddy Cee (@BigDaddyCee7) May 2, 2021

Your fans are tired and they need your voices. When it’s time to promote your works you ask them to support, now it’s your turn to support them in this #FixTheCountry movement. The
things going on in this country are affecting your fans and y’all decide to keep mute, OK— EFIAODO (@efiaodo1) May 3, 2021
It will affect their "brands".
They're forgetting inaction itself sends a message.

A peaceful protest is the way forward. We shouldn’t just rant on Twitter & end it the next day. We must take action. Our leaders are taking us for granted & I think it’s time for us to rise up & fight for better. We deserve better. Ghana deserves better. #FixTheCountry #FixGhana

As simple as that. Fix the crippling unemployment. Fix the street lights. Fix the erratic power supply. Fix the irregular water supply. Fix the killer roads. Fix the corrupt institutions. Fix the factories. Fix the educational system. Fix AGRICULTURE.
