2022 World Cup: Ghana Beats Nigeria, Qualifies On Away Goals

Ghana’s Black Stars have qualified for the 2022 World Cup.

After the first and second legs of the play-off in both countries, Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey scored an early goal in the 11th minute to send Ghana through to the World Cup.

Coach Otto Addo, who recently took over the Black Stars team, implemented significant changes that helped Ghanaians rekindle their love and trust in the Ghanaian team.

The second leg was held at Abuja’s Moshood Abiola National Stadium.
