Yaw Tog, 18-year-old rapper says he is not misusing the money he has acquired in music since he shot into the limelight in 2021.
The ‘Sore’ hitmaker revealed in an interview with Joy Prime that he has no interest in buying cars and houses at this stage in his career.
“I like assets, but I’m trying to invest in big things, not small things,” he told Prime Morning host Jay Foley. “I like assets, but I’m trying to invest in big things, not small things like farming, houses, and car business, plenty of things you know.”
He stated that, despite his mother’s involvement in his funds, he does not require permission to access them whenever he wants.
He also also revealed that he owns a recording studio where he records his own music.
With the emergence of the Asakaa Kumerica drill style of music, Yaw Tog’s career accelerated; the teenager’s jam, ‘Sore,’ became an instant smash hit, earning him a collaboration with UK rapper, Stormzy.
