According to the “Break My Waist” singer, she longs for the day when an upcoming Ghanaian musician will have an intimate relationship with a top female Nigerian musician.
This comes after Wendy Shay claimed a few months ago that some Nigerian underground musicians were sleeping with top female Ghanaian musicians. According to Wendy Shay, most Ghanaian underground musicians are denied access to the Nigerian music market, let alone the opportunity to date their country’s top stars.
In an interview with Accra-based Peace FM, she stated that top female musicians who have intimate relationships with underground Nigerian musicians should stop because it stains their music brand and eventually ruins their reputation.
Wendy Shay also stated in her most recent tweet that there is nothing wrong with upcoming Nigerian musicians dating top Ghanaian female artists, and she looks forward to the day when an underground Ghanaian musician will be able to date a top Nigerian musician.
