The civil unrest in South Africa seems to be worsening by the minute and this time a baby was seen thrown out of a building in Soweto after ground floors were looted and set on fire.
South Africa has been thrown into chaos following the arrest of Jacob Zuma. Many buildings and shops have been looted and torched since last weekend till now.
The latest from the crisis situation is a baby who was thrown out of a building, where a fire was started after it was looted by the masses.
People gathered around the building to catch the baby who landed safely into the hands of the people. Seconds later, they brought in ladders to help rescue the trapped people upstairs.
Earlier yesterday 10 people were reported dead as well. However, the death toll of the riots has tallied 72 and counting.
According to authorities in South Africa, 12 people have been arrested in connection with the fire at the shopping mall in Soweto.
A total of 1.234 people have been arrested in connection with the riots brewing like wildfire in Kwazulu-Natal, a coastal town in South Africa. The military has also been deployed to assist the police in curbing the situation.

President Cyril Ramaphosa has described these riots as the worst to have hit South Africa since the Apartheid riots in the 1990s.
Ministers have declared that if the looting continues, they will cut food supply to the hotspots of the riots but haven’t declared a state of emergency yet.
The mother who threw her baby out the window was reunited with her baby was too emotional to talk to the media.
