Miss Malaika 2021: 30 Girls Make It To Finishing School

Miss Malaika new season is here, leaving Jasmine Djang’s crown up for grab by a new contestant who will succeed her.

‘Winning Miss Malaika, or simply just participating has changed my outlook on life drastically. One thing I took away from the experience is that in as much as outer beauty is important, the growth that happens inwardly is what will make you stand out, and that is exactly what Miss Malaika gave to me and I believe to other ladies who ever participated’ – reigning queen, Miss Jasmine Djang.

In a little, over 80 days from now a new queen takes over from Jasmine Djang. But the journey to that unveil as history would have it has never been easy.

From heartbreaks to tears and cheers, shouts of joy to acts triggered by sour grapes and more, this pageant has seen it all; and on Saturday 17th July was no exception as more than 200 wanna-be queens thronged Tomreik Hotel in hopes of being a part of Miss Malaika Ghana 2021! 45 ladies made it to the next stage.

Prior to this very first encounter, pageant organizers Charterhouse launched the social media campaign, “Tag A Queen” which saw many Ghanaians post photos of ladies they deemed fit to wear the crown and tagging the various Charterhouse handles with the hashtag, #Malaika21.

That process saw some 32 gorgeous ladies automatically graduated to the semifinal stage of auditions which will look a little past the beauty of face and figure and test for intellect and more.

Sitting in on the search panel with the task of selecting the most beautiful among the lot on Saturday 24th July was Showbiz personality, PR Practitioner and Entrepreneur, Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku with award-winning actor, fashion designer, Elikem Kumordzi and Miss Sharon Coffie, Miss Malaika 2012 Queen.

Between the three astute judges, 30 beautiful, intelligent and charming ladies graduated to the final stage which is the FINISHING SCHOOL. According to organizers, 20 out of the 30 will enter the competition properly and would be out doored to the general public.

Miss Malaika Ghana shows this and every Sunday at 8 pm on GH One TV and at 9 pm on MX24 and EBN TV.
