According to a new study, Meghan Markle is the smartest member of the UK Royal family.
The study, conducted by international education provider Oxford Royale, examined QS World University Rankings on topics ranging from academic reputation to faculty-to-student ratio at institutions attended by key members of the Royal Family.
According to experts, this has aided them in determining which royal is the brightest of all.
The results also show that Kate Middleton, who attends the University of St Andrews with husband Prince William but beats him due to better A level results, is the UK’s second smartest Royal.
Princess Eugenie, Peter Phillips, and Zara Tindall are also among the Royal Family’s brightest members.
The intelligence list, however, is headed by the Duchess of Sussex.
Princess Eugenie has been named the UK’s fourth smartest Royal.
At Newcastle University, she majored in art history and English literature.
Lady Kitty Spencer, Princess Diana’s niece, is the only royal with a master’s degree on the list.
“Life as a Royal isn’t always an easy job, and involves a lot of dealing with extensive scrutiny and life in the public spotlight, and Meghan Markle’s academic strengths have equipped her perfectly for this role,” said a spokesman for Oxford Royale, which analyzed the list.
“While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have resigned from their roles as working Royals, they have captured the world’s interest and attention, and Meghan’s desire to use her platform to raise awareness over serious global issues reflects her intelligence, analytical mind, and educational pedigree.”
