Irina Shayk has the internet set on a frenzy after she was spotted with Kanye West in France. Rumours have it that they are in a ‘situationship’ or as Jada Smith will call it, “Entanglement”
Kanye really do have good taste in women and rightly so because Irina is a Russian Supermodel. She was born in Yemanzhelinsk, Soviet Union (Rusia) to Valery Shaykhlislamov, a coal miner, and a Russian mother, Olga, a kindergarten music teacher.
Her modelling career kickstarted after she joined a beauty contest called “Miss Chelyabinsk 2004″ beauty contest” which she won. Prior to that, she studied marketing before officially enrolling in a beauty school.
In 2007, She officially went professional with her modelling journey when as the face of “Intimissimi”. That same year she debuted as the cover for debuted in the annual “Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue”
She appeared on annual editions of these magazines until 2015 where she did photoshoots at astounding locations like Chile, Granada, Nepals to mention a few.
After being the face of Intimissimi for three years, she officially became the brand ambassador for the company. This opened an array of opportunities for her as she featured for world-class brands like the Armani Exchange and the Victoria Secret catalogue.
Interestingly, she also featured in Kanye West’s Power. She was also on the cover of Ocean Drive and South Africa’s GQ issue on the August issue.

She ranked first in the “50 hottest Russian women” list compiled by Complex magazine. She was also ranked 14th on the Top 20 hottest models by Model.com
Aside her modelling career, Irina Shayk has some pretty good acting prowess as she starred alongside Dwayne Johnson in a 2014 movie dubbed ‘Hercules’.
When it comes to dating, Shayk really goes in for the huge names and celebrities in the world. Prominent amongst them was renowned Football icon, Cristiano Ronaldo. They started dating in 2009 but broke up after Ronaldo called it quits in 2015.
She then met American actor, Bradley Cooper and they started dating in 2017 and she had a daughter with him.
One amazing fact was, while she was 6 months pregnant with Lea De Seine, she cat-walked with her on the runway at Victoria’s Secret fashion show.
She gave birth to her on 27th March 2017. The couple split up in June 2019. Now she is romantically involved with Kanye West but they haven’t gone public with it yet.
Aside modelling and acting, she is also a renowned philanthropist who has given significant help to the underprivileged in society.
She is helping a maternity hospital in her hometown and has rebuilt a children’s ward with her sister in a local hospital. Irina raises money for charity in Russia and is the ambassador for the Foodbank for New York City.
Right now, Irina getting busier with Kanye than anything else. After her France getaway with the 44-year-old rapper, the pair were again spotted at New Jersey airport on Wednesday as they touched down.
The couple is said to have travelled together on Ye’s private jet but at the airport went their separate ways so it doesn’t make it obvious that they are together.
Paparazzi on site, got snapshots of them hiding their faces before they could get away from the Airport.
