Making Noise Whiles Having Sex Is An Offence – Lawyer Maurice Ampaw

Maurice Ampaw, a well-known Ghanaian lawyer, has revealed that having sexual pleasure in the bedroom can land you in hot water.

When he appeared as a guest on United Showbiz on UTV on Saturday, the private lawyer educated Ghanaians on a section of the law that prohibits making noise during intercourse.

He explained that making noise while having sexual intercourse with your partner is illegal – a shocking revelation that elicited a cacophony on set.

Although Bulldog, a regular show pundit, disagreed with Lawyer Ampaw’s submission, the lawyer explained that couples can have wonderful sex in their private space while making moaning sounds.

However, the response to sexual pleasure should not be accompanied by shouting and noise that disturbs the peace of others.

According to lawyer Ampaw, the constitution clearly defines making noise during intercourse as a sexual nuisance – an offence punishable by law – and thus partners should be aware of their surroundings before engaging in any bedroom activity.
