Empress Gifty, a Ghanaian gospel diva, bragged that she is the “Only Gospel Artist in Ghana to Reach 1 Million Milestones on the photo and video-sharing social networking app, Instagram.”
Empress Gifty expressed her delight at being the first gospel star to set the record in an interview with Dave Hammer, an award-winning radio presenter at Hello FM (a Despite Media venture) on Dave Hammer TV.
“Let me clarify unequivocally that I am the only gospel musician in Ghana with a million Instagram followers.” “I’m a record breaker,” Empress Gifty exclaimed to the host, Dave Hammer, with excitement.
When asked how she did it, the ‘Jesus Over Do’ singer (Gifty Adorye) explained that hard work and perseverance got her this far, allowing her to amass such a large Instagram following.
This significant achievement comes on the heels of other prestigious prizes she has received in Ghana for her significant contribution to the expansion of the Ghanaian gospel business through the release of hit after hit songs.
Mrs Adorye made these remarks in an interview following her spectacular performance at the 4th Edition of ABBA FATHER, which was hosted by Evangelist Diana Asamoah and held at Golden Bean in Kumasi on Sunday, January 4th, 2022.
