On the night of his Freedom Wave Concert at the Accra Sports Stadium, Shahtta Wale threw shade at Nigerian musicians, claiming that he never needed them.
According to the SM President, people had always questioned his ability to draw a crowd, claiming that he couldn’t fill a stadium without Nigerian acts.
Shatta Wale decided it was time to chastise, berate, and drag Nigerian artistes, particularly those who propagated the narrative, after defying that perception by filling the Accra Sports Stadium to capacity.
In a viral video, Shatt Wale was heard saying:
“They said I won’t be able to fill my own stadiums, I don’t need any Nigerian Artiste to sell out Ghana’s Stadium, F*** all Nigerian Artistes”.
Nigerians were outraged by Shatta Wale’s damning statement.
They believe that his ability to pull the numbers does not negate the fact that Nigerian artists are light years ahead of their Ghanaian counterparts.
