Drop Your Phone Or No Ballot! EC Says Phones Won’t Be Allowed In Voting Booth

You may an eligible voter but your mobile phone could disenfranchise you if you take it to a polling station and refuse to drop it during the voting process.

Speaking to Serwaa Amihere on GhOne TV, Director of Electoral Services at the EC, Dr Serebour Quaicoo, said the move is to prohibit vote-selling because people take pictures of their vote and send as a prove to whoever bought their vote.
