Dr. Dre Throws ‘Divorced AF’ Party To Celebrate Being Divorced After 21 Years Of Marriage (PHOTOS)

Dr. Dre is celebrating his return to the single market after 21 years of marriage, despite the fact that his ex-wife Nicole Young is still fighting for half of his $1 billion estate.

Breyon Prescott, Dre’s friend, shared a photo of the hip hop mogul in front of huge silver balloons with the words “Divorced AF.” inscribed on them on Thursday night, December 9.

Dre can be seen with a big smile on his face, spreading his arms out to emphasize the message.

“Well My Brother @drdre Just Told Me It’s Final!!!” Prescott captioned the post. Congrats.”

Dre has been fighting his ex-wife, Nicole, since she served him with divorce papers in June 2020, demanding half of his $1 billion fortune.

The parties are still arguing about assets, but the judge ruled that they will be considered legally single beginning in April 2021.

However, it appears that the “Divorced AF” party makes it appear that Dre and Nicole have reached some sort of agreement.

Both parties are still preparing for trial as they argue about the legality of their prenuptial agreement.

Nicole admits she signed a prenuptial agreement with her husband before they married in 1996. She claims, however, that Dre tore up the agreement a couple of years into the marriage. The producer denies her claim and demands that the prenuptial agreement be enforced in the case.

Nicole does not receive half of the estate under the prenup, and if it is enforced, she will only receive spousal support.

Dre revealed in recent filings that he hasn’t spoken to his ex-wife in a long time. He claims he no longer knows the woman he once loved after she made “false” abuse claims in court.

“Nicole never made any formal or informal domestic violence claims before or during our marriage.” During our marriage, the police were never called “Dre asserts.

“Nicole’s deposition was held in my presence. She testified that there were no witnesses to the alleged abuse, and she admitted that she never told anyone about the alleged abuse, including her mother, siblings, or other family or friends. There are no texts, emails, photographs, videos, police reports, domestic violence filings, or other documents proving abuse, and no witnesses to her heinous allegations.”

“I realized last August that I didn’t know the woman I married and loved after learning of Nicole’s false accusations of abuse.”

The hearing is scheduled for December 16th.
