Speaking during a telephone interview on Citi FM, he said “When I got to Korle Bu, I met Sir John and Mac Manu. I had a very good conversation with Sir John, we talked about the recent primaries and he mentioned that he’d just spoken to the Vice President”.
Narrating how witnessed the passing of the CEO of Forestry Commission last night, he said “Sir John’s bed was next to mine. Our food was brought to us but he just fell back onto the bed and fell silent. The doctors tried very hard, for over an hour, to revive him but to no avail”.
Carlos though COVID-19 positive, was on Tuesday spotted at an EC Registration center. Speaking about that he said “on owing my status [as positive for COVID-19] and the fact that I was asymptomatic I visited one registration centre but didn’t go amongst any people, although I did step out of my car”.
A comment which has since been courting him backlash and on social media – see tweets below of what tweeps are saying about that.

In any serious country with a positive thinking president, Mr. Carlos Ahenkorah would have been sacked and prosecuted for posing as a Public Threat to the over 30 million Ghanaian Citizens. @GhPoliceService get him arrested now. “I can assure you that I’m a very careful person and I was very mature about it,” – dishonorable Carlos Ahenkorah.
Question: How come you contracted Covid-19 if you were that careful?
