Davido has addressed why his much-anticipated wedding to Chioma hasn’t happened as promised.
The Nigerian singer proposed to Chioma his girlfriend last year when she was carrying his first son and made it known that they will walk down the aisle in 2020.

Talking to Ebuka in an interview, Davido said the wedding was set to happen in July but the pandemic ruined their plans. “honestly Corona f^8kd it up” he said before laughing after he was asked about it. he added that “it was meant to be in July”.
Speaking fondly of Chioma, the ‘Assurance’ singer said he has been with her for about 7 years now and giving hope about wedding her he said: “probably some time next year'”. According to Davido, he wants her to focus on her business for now.
