Before this, the “Love Me” singer has been less active in the showbiz and music space for a while now but dropped a gospel song ‘Holy’ a year ago, which much suggested the path she was taken then.

Announcing her new brand with a video compilation that shows her in the church in giving testimony, recording gospel song and praying, she wrote “my name is Minister Chidinma ekile. I’m a crusader of the gospel of Jesus. I’m a crusader of the Gospel of Jesus Christ”.

Minister Chidinma has accordingly also dropped a Gospel song today which she titles “JEHOVAH OVER DO”. The song with its official music video below has been released under Eezee Concepts, the management team behind Gospel superstar, Mercy Chinwo.

Chidinma rose to fame in 2010 after she won the Project Fame West Africa music reality show when she was 19-year-old. Afterwards, she released her debut single, ‘Jankoliko’ featuring veteran star, Sound Sultan with other secular tracks.

Minister Chidinma became a West African sensation with the single, ‘Kedike’ and following it ‘Fallen In Love” among others. She also released other singles like ‘Emi Ni Baller,’ which won Best Video at the 2014 Headies.

At the 2012 edition of the KORA Awards, Chidinma won Best Female West African Act. She was also nominated for Best Female Act at the 2014 MTV Africa Music Awards.
